Pickleball in Providence, Rhode Island

The Providence Tennis and Pickleball Center has three outdoor pickleball courts. Membership is not required. Players can create a free online account and purchase a $10 day pass for unlimited court use that day. Seasonal memberships and playing options are also available.
- Pickleball Citi
60 Walnut Grove Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920
This nearby indoor facility is outside Providence and has two pro-grade courts. Members and non-members can join open play or book private court time. It also offers beginner classes, leagues, tournaments, training, and social mixers.
- Centerline Pickleball Club

This nearby indoor club is outside Providence and has eight regulation courts. Members and non-members can reserve courts and open play, with earlier booking windows for members. The club also offers lessons, clinics, leagues, tournaments, and events.
- Cranston municipal pickleball
Peter Pastore Youth Center, 155 Gansett Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910
Cranston runs indoor sessions for residents and nonresidents, including all-skill open play and instructional blocks. Advance registration is required and attendance is limited. The city also has six outdoor courts at the John Chafee Athletic Complex and Doric Avenue complex.
Getting Started
New players should start with an instructional session at the Peter Pastore Youth Center in Cranston or a beginner class at Pickleball Citi. Both provide a structured entry point before open play. Providence Pickleball uses CourtReserve for current court access and club programs at Roger Williams Park. Pickleball Citi offers open play, leagues, tournaments, and social mixers.
